Our metals include gold-plated, gold-filled, stainless steel, and sterling silver. Proper care is important to ensure the longevity of your jewelry. Please note that each product page details which material they are made of.
Just a few words of love for your precious jewels: avoid taking them for a swim, keep them out of the shower, save them from your workout sweat, and shield them from your perfume or lotion party. Treat them like your best outfit - special and not for every occasion! We totally get it, our rules might seem a tad bit uptight for our busy-bee moms, free-spirited beauties, and sporty ladies out there. Go ahead, flaunt your charmie on those sunny lake days. Just remember to pat it dry to keep those pesky chemicals at bay.
While our jewelry is nickel and lead free, certain individuals are particularly sensitive and can only wear sterling silver and pure gold. If this applies to you, we cannot assure that you won't experience some kind of reaction when wearing gold plated and gold filled materials.
Here's a fun little fact! Did you know that your body chemistry and certain meds can play a part in jewelry tarnishing? Totally unavoidable, but something to keep in mind. All jewelry (except solid gold) will inevitably tarnish overtime if not cared for properly. But, hey, we're all about that lived-in vibe. With proper care, your jewelry will age gracefully, picking up a few scratches and a bit of patina along the way. Those aren't flaws - they're character!
